Yoshihiro Nishiyama
Born in Ehime Prefecture in 1979. Based in Kanazawa city, Ishikawa Prefecture.
"I want to catch every moment of glass, a material that rapidly changes its shape, without missing a single moment."
With this in mind, Yoshihiro is working with blown glass, creating pieces that incorporate the natural shape of glass rather than creating the shape according to his own image.
With its slightly wavy edges and thin shimmering glass surface, his glass works has a warm and cool appearance that evokes a sense of nostalgia.
Note: Each piece is hand work by the artist, even the same piece will have a slightly different expression.
