Tai Ono
Born in 1993 in Aichi Prefecture. Studied under his father, Teppei Ono who is also a ceramist himself. His pieces are made from soil dug from the mountains of Kochi.
The vessels are made of red clay with white colored slip and ash glaze pools beautifully on the clay skin with a wild taste. Influenced by his experiences with his father, who traveled around Asia with his family, making ceramics. Watching his father and visited many different countries from an early age, today he creates one-of-a-kind pieces assimilated with the beauty of nature.
Note: Each piece is hand work by the artist, even the same piece will have a slightly different expression.
