Wooden plates are carved out of camphor tree hornbeam from Kagoshima Prefecture, and each plate is hand-carved, so no two are alike.
Wooden plates are less likely to break than glass and are lightweight, making them ideal for outdoor use.
The color and grain expression may vary from piece to piece. Please enjoy natural camphorwood.
Camphor tree was designated as the prefectural tree of Kagoshima prefecture in 1970. It is a disease-resistant, evergreen, tall tree that grows in clusters widely in the prefecture.
It is also used as an aromatic essential oil, and is effective in repelling insects. It also has both calming and stimulating effects, so it balances the mind.
Use it outdoors or at home. Feel the warmth of the camphor tree in Kagoshima by putting bread, fruit, or anything else you like on it.

The colored lacquer that colors this vessel develops more vividly as time goes by.

■Handling
AKIHIRO WOOD WORKS vessels are very easy to maintain.
Basically, you can use the same handling techniques as you would use for your regular tableware.
When washing, please use household detergent.
When drying, wipe with a towel or let dry naturally.
Do not use a dish dryer.
Do not use in a microwave oven.
