Maiko Miyaoka
Born in Kanagawa in 1974. After graduating from Musashino Art University's Department of Oil Painting, she studied ceramics at Aichi Prefectural Ceramics High Technical School. She goes independent in Ome City, Tokyo in 2004, and opens Kagetsu-yo together with Mutsuhiko Shimura. Viewers can feel the deep respect for tradition and antiques she carries in her work.
