Hirota Glass
Hirota Glass was founded in 1899, known as one of the oldest glass manufacturers in Tokyo.
The company was mainly engaged in the production of tableware for daily use as well as lampshades for milk and beer bottles. After World War II when mass production became the mainstream, Hirota Glass continued to produce handmade glass with the desire to "make products that appeal to people's sensibilities and have a warmth that is familiar to their hands".
Based on valuable design documents and traditional handcrafted techniques inherited since its foundation, Hirota Glass produces products that harmonize with modern interiors such as Edo-Kiriko and blown glass.
