Meet Champignon, a charming bread lamp inspired by the shape of a mushroom. “Champignon” means “mushroom” in French, and its distinctive silhouette is instantly memorable.

Place this small lamp on a flat surface and a gentle light spills out from beneath its bread “cap.” It adds a soft, warm glow to a shelf, desk, or bedside table without overwhelming the room.

Upcycled bread, transformed into light

YUKIKO MORITA purchases surplus bread from partner bakeries and actively gives it a new life as art and design objects. Each Champignon lamp is made from real bread, so its shape, size, and baked coloring will vary from piece to piece.
