This bamboo rice scoop has been subjected to the “Susu bamboo process,” in which bamboo is scorched under high pressure while steam is applied to it to enhance its insect- and fungus-resistant properties. The mini size is 14 cm in length, perfect for hand-rolled sushi. Just by changing one of the bamboo ladles to one made of natural material, the atmosphere of the room will be changed. Unlike plastic, the bamboo ladle has a warm presence and feels comfortable in the hand.
