Eiichi Hirose (E. HIROSE) was a Japanese woodblock print artist and creator of ex-libris (bookplates) who was active primarily during the Showa period (1926–1989).
Ex-libris (Bookplates): Hirose created numerous hand-printed woodblock bookplates featuring traditional Japanese customs and culture, nature, women in kimono, Mount Fuji, and other distinctly Japanese motifs. Many of his works were created to introduce Japanese culture and customs to audiences overseas.
