Inspired by the construction of U.S. military Helmet Bags and Coal Bags, the Base Tote XL features a large front pocket derived from the Helmet Bag and the durable short-handle construction of a Coal Bag.

The XL is designed as a 2-way tote, featuring short handles and a fixed shoulder strap. Carry it by hand to emphasize its bold, classic silhouette, or wear it over the shoulder or crossbody when carrying heavier loads or moving actively.

With its exceptionally generous capacity and oversized proportions, the XL offers the functionality of a large utility bag while also having a distinctive presence within a space. It works for everyday use, travel, outdoor activities, and even as a practical bag for the home.

Made from canvas, the bag develops more character and softness with use, gradually taking on a texture and presence unique to its owner.

For the CIBONE exclusive, Japanese deadstock fabric not used in the brand’s regular collection has been specially selected and reworked in two colors.

Ivory is dyed to create a cleaner, more refined expression, minimizing the visible flecks naturally found in traditional canvas. The result is a soft, warm tone with a more modern and polished character than the brand’s standard Natural color.

Purple is a muted tone with a subtle red undertone, adding quiet depth while remaining versatile for everyday styling.

The CIBONE exclusive edition maintains This is a(n)’s made-to-order philosophy, while reinterpreting the material, color, and context specifically for CIBONE.

Please note: The shoulder strap is permanently attached and cannot be removed. The Black color is part of the regular collection and is not included in the CIBONE exclusive edition.
