The Base Tote L by This is a(n) is the largest and most versatile model in the Base Tote series, designed to move effortlessly between everyday life and travel.
Inspired by the construction of U.S. military Helmet Bags and Coal Bags, the design combines the generous storage capacity of a Helmet Bag with the durable short-handle construction of a Coal Bag.
The L features a fixed shoulder strap, offering two ways to carry the bag. Carry it by hand for a classic tote silhouette, or wear it over the shoulder or crossbody when carrying more or on the move.
At approximately 60 cm wide, the L offers substantial capacity for everyday use, outdoor activities, and 2–3 night trips or business travel. Its generous proportions make it easy to pack more without sacrificing the understated character of the design.
Made from durable canvas, the bag develops more character and softness with use, gradually taking on a texture and presence unique to its owner.
