The Decorated Bowl Ringed Lines brings the precision of Yamanaka woodturning to the everyday table. Crafted from zelkova wood, its surface is decorated with fine parallel rings, cut one by one using specialized chisels. The rhythmic lines give the bowl a distinctive texture, while the black finish highlights its carefully shaped form.
Yamanaka’s decorative woodturning tradition includes both parallel lines and spiral grooves, with these techniques producing an estimated 40–50 patterns. This bowl celebrates that heritage through a simple form that invites you to appreciate the craft each time you use it. With a 300 ml capacity, it is well suited to a serving of soup or a small side dish.
