This pot has a dignified appearance with straight lines.
The handle is made of moso bamboo. The design blends easily with both Japanese and Western styles of serving tea, whether sencha and yunomi (teacup) or black tea and teacup. The capacity is for approximately two cups of tea. The spout is sharp and easy to use, allowing the tea to flow smoothly into the teacup.
The “Gente” with the handle in the upper position can be folded down to the side for compact storage. The “side hand,” with the handle on the side, is larger so that it can be held firmly for pouring. Both have a large mouth for easy washing and a removable tea strainer.
