This set includes one Madoka kataguchi and two Madoka sake cups made of 100% tin with beautiful smooth curves. Recommended for those who want to enjoy mellow tasting sake.
Tin has been used since ancient times as a metal for sake and tea utensils, as it is said that “water in a tin vessel does not spoil” and that it “mellows the taste of sake”. It also has high thermal conductivity, so when cold sake is poured into it, its coldness can be felt instantly on the skin. Simply refrigerate the container for a minute or two and the entire container will become cool to the touch, allowing you to enjoy well-chilled sake even more.
Tin has antibacterial properties, making it safe to use as tableware.
The name “Madoka” means “calm” or “happy” in Japanese, and we named it to encourage families and couples to spend a relaxing time together.
How about a gift to celebrate your marriage or wedding anniversary?
