Born in Yokohama, Kanagawa in 1953. Set up independent workshop in Ito, Shizuoka in 1980 and built climbing kiln in 2010. He creates pottery rooted in the essence of pottery, such as kohiki and karatsu. His works that are close to the user become more interesting the more time you spend with it.
