In small fishing ports, you’ll find many types of rope knots, one of the most common being the “eye splice” – a method of looping and weaving the end of a rope back into itself.
This box-shaped bag is crafted from recycled mikan (mandarin orange) netting, traditionally used in agriculture. The handle is secured using the eye splice technique, creating a sturdy and distinctive design. The translucent material and layered colors give each bag a slightly different look depending on how the light hits it.
