Small size Marugame Uchiwa. It has a simple koban-shaped design with a flat bamboo handle.
Marugame in Kagawa Prefecture has been a “production center of Uchiwa” for 400 years since before the Edo period. The bamboo bones are made in China, but they are carefully pasted one by one by craftsmen in Japan with a strict eye.
