Steam and precise heat control
Add 5 cc of water at the start of each toast. A thin layer of steam surrounds the bread, helping retain its moisture and flavor as the surface toasts. Precise control of three temperature zones creates a contrast between a crisp exterior and a soft interior.
Salamander Grill Mode
Inspired by professional kitchen broilers, this mode delivers powerful top-down heat for caramelizing, searing, and finishing dishes. Add a golden finish to gratins or caramelize the top of a crème brûlée.
