This sake bottle from the early Meiji period (1868-1912) features a straight, dignified form with an elegant presence. The lid's knob is designed to be easy to grasp. The entire surface is adorned with detailed and intricate leaf arabesque patterns, showcasing the meticulous craftsmanship of the time. The strong indigo color enhances the boldness of the design. Originally used for pouring sake, its somewhat modern aesthetic makes it a versatile piece that can also be enjoyed as a decorative flower vase.
