Kanaya Brush
Kanaya Brush was established in Asakusa in 1914. Originally a manufacturer of paint brushes, industrial brushes, Kanaya Brush now supplies a wide range of brushes from household brushes to brushes for craftsmen, continuing its tradition as a specialty store. While many materials have been replaced by synthetic fibers, Kanaya Brush continues to manufacture brushes produced by craftsmen using only natural materials such as horsehair and pigs' hair.
Note: Each piece is hand work by the artist, even the same piece will have a slightly different expression.
