Born in Kanagawa Prefecture in 1977. Produces lacquer ware in Kamakura City. Born and raised by family of sculptors, grew up knowing the comfort of daily use lacquer bowls since his childhood years. Producing daily use laquerware, gentle and humble but has an understated core strength with a unique dignity. Lacquer bowls curved from trees such as cherry blossoms and laurel are filled with a simple and unremarkable beauty.
