The “Kesho-bako” (Kobako) of Kagoshima Shrine is a traditional folk toy modeled after the ceremonial furnishings carried by Toyotama-hime no Mikoto when she became the bride of Yamasachihiko (Hikohohodemi no Mikoto).
Note: Each piece is hand work by the artist, even the same piece will have a slightly different expression.
