Born 1978 in Tokyo. Sculptor artist. Kohei creates his sculptures from shapes and objects that interest him and cuts lumber mainly from camphor wood. After carving and combining wood pieces to create a prototype, adds acrylic paint one layer at a time, applying up to 100 colors. Adding the finishing touch by scraping layers of color, making a unique sculpture with numerous color appearances.
