Born in Yokohama in 1974 and raised in Chiba. Blood type O. Nakamura’s works are known for his characteristic paintings with dynamic strokes using his body. He has held exhibitions in Japan and abroad, including Paris, the Netherlands, and Taiwan. He is one of the members of the artist group “SSS” and has participated in a number of high-profile exhibitions with other artists, presenting avant-garde and experimental performances. In addition, as an exhibition curator and an editor of art magazines with his keen eyes, Nakamura has been introducing new talents to the contemporary art scene.
Nakamura paints with his hands using acrylic, gesso, ink, and graphite on canvas, paper, or wood.
