Born in 1990. Based in Sarayama Village in Hita city, Oita Prefecture. Raised by a taditional family who preserves the Onta-yaki pottery for more than 300 years. So represents the youngest generation, and rising star who carries the legacy.

His ceramic pieces include "Tobi-kanna", signature technique of Onta-yaki pottery of carving the surface while spinning the potter's wheel. While several techniques including the "Tobi-kanna" are rarely seen in the modern era, So utilizes the diminished traditional techniques to craft creative patterns suitable for daily use.
