The pattern "Kamawanu" is used in the shop's name "Kamawanu". It is a playful design called "hanajimono" which combines the symbols of a sickle, a circle, and the character "nu". Created in the early Edo period, it became a fashionable pattern used in kabuki costumes.
Handling precautions:
Due to hand-dyeing, color may bleed.
It may transfer color when wet.
Avoid leaving it wet.
When washing, please hand wash separately from other items.
Note: Each piece is hand work by the artist, even the same piece will have a slightly different expression.
