Tenugui is a versatile traditional Japanese hand towel, serving various purposes such as tea towels, placemats, bandanas, and even gift wrapping, adding a touch of charm to everyday life.

The pattern called "Yoshiwara Tsunagi" is formed by connecting corners with inward notches slightly, creating a shape resembling a corner with a child inside. It has been used on half coats, yukata, and tenugui by young men during the Edo, Meiji, and Taisho periods.
