Yoshinori Nagashima
Born in Fukuoka prefecture in 1979.
BA in Crafts, Tama Art University, 2003.
MFA in 2005, Tokyo University of the Arts.
Yoshinori established his atelier in Tokyo in 2017, and produces cutlery, plates, and other tableware. He uses a technique called "forging," in which metal is beaten with a hammer to form the pieces. Tense yet expressive pieces tailored with a sense of beauty, has a profound handcrafted flavors that will last for many years to come.
This cutlery is made of stainless steel with an aged finish, making a perfect match for earthenware, durable and easily used for a long time. Please be assured that the reddish brown coloring is not rusted.
Note: Each piece is hand work by the artist, even the same piece will have a slightly different expression.
